In the event of sudden sharp rise in stock price or dramatic increase in trading volumes and margin transaction balances, stock exchanges may take restrictive measures to prevent stock market from overheating. JSF will take similar measures in order to ensure the fair and smooth operation of loans for margin transactions when any restriction is applied to margin transactions. Moreover, should the loan balances of a specific issue rise dramatically, or a specific issue becomes significantly over-lent, JSF may issue a notice for precaution in respect of the use of stock loans, etc. , or may restrict or suspend stock loan applications.
Please refer Measures in Respect of the Use of Stock Loans in Margin Transactions for details. |
