In October 2024, we formulated and announced the "Japan Securities Finance Human Rights Policy." Our group (Japan Securities Finance Co., Ltd., JSF Trust and Banking Co., Ltd., and Nihon Building Co., Ltd.), as an enterprise that supports the infrastructure of the securities and financial markets, provides a variety of services, including loans for margin transactions. Our business activities are made possible through the support of our stakeholders, including our clients. Our group has always recognized the importance of respecting human rights, prohibiting discrimination, valuing diversity, and banning various types of harassment, and we have consistently strived to uphold human rights. Under the newly formulated human rights policy, we will continue to promote efforts to respect the human rights of all individuals involved in our business activities.
We will continuously monitor compliance with the human rights policy and will make improvements as needed. Furthermore, our efforts related to respect for human rights will regularly be reported and discussed in management meetings and the like. The details of these efforts will be reported to the Board of Directors to facilitate appropriate oversight.
To promote initiatives addressing human rights issues and diversity, we will continuously provide effective education and awareness programs to our executives and employees. These programs will include training on the prevention of harassment to ensure that each and every executive and employee is able to deepen their correct understanding and awareness of human rights issues and diversity.
